Yep! I’m Copic Certified!

Julianna Hudgins and Tiffany Windsor at Copic Certification ClassNow I know what all the excitement is about with Copic Markers! While Julianna Hudgins and I were at the Puerto Rico Scrapbook Event a few weeks ago, we both took the Copic Certification Class where we learned all of the amazing stuff you can do with Copic Markers! Now I get to practice, practice, practice so that I can teach you what I learned about blending and shading, how to refill, what papers to use, airbrushing (yep! you can actually airbrush with these markers!) what tips to use — the list goes on and on!

Feelin’ Cool on Mondays!

Cool2Craft LIVE TV - May 17, 201Can you tell that I am totally immersed in Cool2Craft these days. I just love my Mondays. I get to visit with the coolest crafters and learn all sorts of new stuff. And I always love the Mondays when I get to demo too! Today’s Cool2Craft LIVE interactive TV was filled with lots of great demos.

Just in case you missed today’s show, here is the link to watch the entire episode in our playback room or if you prefer. . . here’s the links to the demo segments that were posted on the Cool2Craft YouTube channel including how to. . . create the coolest altered art wood Wish Block by Elizabeth Diamond, Make Healthy Fun Container Garden Ideas by Joan Fee, create Friendly Plastic Splash Nugget Beads by Linda Peterson and Easy Stenciling with freezer paper by Tiffany Windsor. Eileen Hull and Julianna Hudgins also reported from the National Stationery Show in New York but the air card connection was spotty so we’re going to wait for Eileen to check in LIVE on next Monday’s show so we can get the full scoop!

The coolest thing about watching Cool2Craft LIVE is that you can ask the guests questions right after their demos – LIVE in the chatroom! It’s cool!

I always like to give my guests a big shout out and invite you to visit their blogs and websites:

FaveCrafts Radio – March 21, 2010

I have been SO busy over the past weeks setting up new guests for FaveCrafts Radio. The response has been so HUGE, the show is now booked through the end of May. Whew!

I love the medium of radio. There is something wonderfully creative about weaving together an interview. It inspires me to hear how other creative souls express their creativity and I learn SO much.  I couldn’t ask for a better way to spend my Sunday nights.

Here’s my guest line-up for this Sunday night March 21, 2010. I’ve expanded this episode to 90-minutes because this is a LONG list of guests :)

Mark Montano – announces the release of his new book The Big-Ass Book of Home Decor

Julianna Hudgins – “Where in the World is Jewels?” Julianna reports on her recent travels to the Camp Directors Event, Sizzix and behind the scenes at a recent video project.

Phyllis Serbes from ManyCreativeGifts.com shares her insights on crochet as part of a healthy lifestyle and talks about her monthly newsletter “Mind, Body, spirit, …and Crochet!

Susan Sorrell is a fiber artist who teaches on-line classes. Her pieces are whimsical, colorful and have a personal theme. Susan will be talking about how she comes up with her ideas and more!

FaveCrafts reporter Brenda Pinnick shares quick and easy solutions for bringing more color into your world in her Color Solutions report.

Hope you can join me and my special guests this Sunday night at 7 pm on FaveCrafts Radio.

Inspired at Home Radio – January 31, 2010

When I first launched the Inspired at Home Radio show, I planned out shows weeks and weeks in advance. There was a lot of pre-production work to do with web pages and show notes and such.  Well, here I am 9 months later and I’m sometimes planning the shows only days in advance.  I’m rather liking this unfoldment of not always knowing who I’m going to interview on Sunday, even though it is Friday and that’s certainly what has happened this week. Up until yesterday, I didn’t know who I would be interviewing on Sunday. But as trust would have it, the most amazing line-up of guests has appeared. I hope you can join me Sunday night!

Feature Guests: Terri O, Julianna Hudgins, Brenda Pinnick
